The David stuff was the only good thing about Covenant. You could tell that those were the parts that Ridley was actually interested in, because they’re the only element of the film that offer anything original to the saga. Hard to pick a favorite Lee/Kirby or Lee/Ditko favorite, but I’d say that Silver Surfer and Journey into Mystery (Thor) were his peaks as a writer. They’re still incredibly entertaining (JIM) and thought provoking (SS) today.
