LOLOLOLOLOL so stoked to see this. I spit out a bite of peach (that I was eating straight from the can) so I could read the phrase “inexpensive Yankee candles” to my husband. (I actually dragged him to both endcaps of the candle aisle at Target just last night, explaining that the “good candles” were just too

Yankee Outlet also rules. That’s where I stock up on my Witches’ Brew.

Their flagship store and (some?) of their manufacturing is a couple of towns over from where I live. It’s always such a THING to know someone who will help you out with an employee discount.

And justify the purchase by (lying to self) and thinking, ‘After the candle’s done I’ll clean and find a use for the jar.”

Absolutely my first thought along with, “Yankee Candles are affordable?!”

GURL you beat me to le punch!

I only buy candles when they’re on the semi-annual sale at Bath and Body Works! Then I stock up like a madwoman and have no space in my house to store them.

Word! I was the only of my friends that didn’t buy Yankee Candles because I couldn’t afford them. I will admit, I want a candle from a local company that makes candles that smell like different wines but damn $30 dollars though ?

I buy my candles at IKEA. Those are some cheap candles.

$27.99 for a jar candle?

Yasssssssss!

Yes. I was like “those are not considered expensive candles?” Candles from Ross or GTFO. Also I got a candle from Grocery Outlet recently that pretty legit!

Bitch I got a $3 big jar candle at Michael’s yesterday - I’m too cheap for clearance Yankee candles.

That shit is like $30! No.

Preach, sister.

I want to star this several times over.

why

Preach. Was going to say the same thing.

It’s almost as if these are the same damn people!*

Ha! I read your hashtag as “sob lessed”, like you ran out of tears because you cried so much about how everyone hates Christmas!
