This is why he only consumes soup. He isn’t designed for solid food.
If David Simon had written this, critics would have said he’s letting his grudge against the Baltimore Sun infringe upon the realism of his scripts.
To be fair, Trump’s original tweets are plenty misogynistic, racist, anti-Semitic, and generally problematic, as well. He doesn’t just outsource all that to those he retweets.
Booker is even worse than Clinton with regards to Wall Street. It would not please the progressive base.
I like Lynch’s choice to return to the style of his early mixed-medium art installations which often included crude images and simplistic yet unnerving audio content. Classic Lynch is perfect for the 2016 campaign.
Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump once spent half an hour on Howard Stern’s radio show bragging to some guy about how he fucked his girlfriend! Wait, that also actually happened. How is this supposed to work again?
Raphael Cruz, whose presidential candidate son was not born in the United States, once said that the first black president of the United States should go “back” to Africa!
Even more appropriate Sunny reference when talking about Trump:
UK politicians see Trump as revolting and offensive as a decapitated pig’s head and say “fuck that."
It was a bold choice to have David Lynch direct this campaign ad.
“I am open to be proven wrong. But it hasn’t happened yet.”
His dismissal of the importance of winning red states is irrelevant after weeks and weeks of him claiming his string of victories is red states justifies his campaign continuing and proves that he has momentum? How so? Do you have a non-bullshit answer this time?
Sanders made that comment a few days ago at the debate. What the fuck are you talking about? Are you just a troll, as some have suggested? Are you just dishonestly partisan? Sanders is a strong enough candidate to survive my constructive criticism. Are you not a strong enough supporter to accept my criticism?
He specifically dismissed the states where the majority of voters were black. He didn’t mention Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Idaho, Utah, Alaska, or Wyoming, where he won. Democratic chances in the general election are as bad or worse in all of these Republican states, so his argument that Republican states don’t…
When I was working the polls for the primary in Ohio, I saw a middle-aged woman and her adorable teenaged daughter helping their adorable elderly mother/grandmother to our table to get her ballot. Three generations of women, one approaching the end of her life (and of the generation that saw an attempt to exterminate…
He dismissed the importance of Southern red states, where the Democratic electorates are heavily black., while touting his support in Midwestern and Plains red states that are blindingly white. It wasn’t a deliberate attempt to dismiss black voters, but it effectively was.
I seem to recall Obama being held to a ridiculous standard, as well. The patriarchy didn’t magically make him white in 2008.
I support Bernie, but I think his casual dismissal of the importance of the mostly-black voters in the South is disingenuous and insulting. I didn’t like when the Clinton campaign, in more explicitly racial terms, did it in 2008, and I don’t like it now.
Tammy Duckworth, Amy Klobuchar, Kamala Harris, Kirsten Gillibrand, Elizabeth Warren, or Tammy Baldwin would all make great candidates.
