I live in the PNW off of the ocean. We usually have a week or so in August that’s super nice...but other than that it’s pretty consistant. I don’t know what to do with real winter weather either (which made grad school in the middle of snow country really hard).

Because they’re still high school students and parents have the right to see their information, that only changes in college with FERPA. The child is 18 but in an institution meant for minors so high schools will treat them accordingly. While colleges assume their students are grownups and act that way.
