Look, in GM’s defense (I can’t believe I just wrote that), they didn’t make or market the Cascadia for retail buyers. It was always intended as a Florida rental car special. They probably had excess inventory on those dash kits, and every other part in that thing. 

None. None people have a specific power output as their metric.

You’re right on the first two I think. But I think you underestimate the desire for something different. If you’ve already had an S Class or two, and all your friends have them too, the suicide door Lincoln is something people will actually notice. Plus, it’s fucking cool. 

I don’t understand how RR gets away with it. At this price point there should be absolutely no glitches in electronics, cords, even too much reflection from interior chrome.

Not one customer in a hundred cares about a locking differential. And anyone who wants the high level trims wants the latest greatest anyway. 

You can’t let a little thing like price get in the way of excellence though.
