The guy driving a 15 year old Saab probably doesn’t have a real good handle on current SUV/CUV’s.
I like the way it looks. I think I’m in the majority on that one. But hey, the Telluride is pretty great too.
Glad I’m not the only one who finds this thing....hideous. The cut out, or whatever it is, under the headlights up front-man. What the hell were they thinking. The VP in charge of the Expedition has to be absolutely delighted today.
Ford can’t escape the horsepower wars. Neither can GM and FCA.
It’s a death trap compared to a modern micro-car.
I saw a Nardo Gray S4 on the showroom floor. And. Well, the rest is history. I am not known for restraint.
I mean, all of those are going to add some weight-that’s not surprising. You might drive it before you make decide. The feel in current BMW’s is....less than ideal. Hopefully the new gen 3 is improved.
Yeah, true. But...the S/RS just give you that special feeling. The sound. The acceleration. The upgraded interior materials. It all adds up if its doable for you.
The S/RS models take corners as well or better than damn near anything. So yeah, not really an issue in this case.
I am 18 months into an S4 sedan and agree across the board. Though the sedan does fit tires, I would avoid it. Ask me how I know.
Would look excellent on any E class wagon. On the GLS...not so much.
Not to be outdone, BMW is bringing these bad boys to the X7M. But in matte black. Of course.
This makes all the sense in the world. Though it does seem odd that FCA-PSA sort of represents the majority of the second tier automakers+Jeep and Ferrari.
Glad someone said it. The iPhone was not in any way, the first to market. They learned from Blackberry, Palm, and even some early Nokia smartphones. Waiting is what made it so successful.
This is obviously financially smart-but it doesn’t sound like fun. What’s the point of having something nice if you’re not using it?
I’m feeling triggered! :-)
Neat and all, but I have no idea why anyone would want this for anything other than the novelty. And it’s rather expensive for the hassle.
Well, Ford is in the business of moving metal. So you had a Focus or Fiesta ST, but now you’ve got a kid or two and you still want to hammer a stoplight or two. The Edge is probably pretty good at that-and your wife won’t be pissed off you bought a tiny car.
Ironically, places like Jalopnik are full of commenters shitting on people buying mediocre premium vehicles for the label. And yet, when a non premium brand makes something expensive-they shit on that too. Don’t you love the internet?
