An “I’m retiring from Deadpool” statement really didn’t need to include six paragraphs of self-congratulatory pabulum with a number of grandiose claims that seem... a little dubious.

Kudos for touching on it in the article, but it cannot be stated ENOUGH how the Deadpool that exists today has very little to do with Liefeld except for his visual design. Thank god for that.
