Fair enough... but none of this is a result of your bisexuality. Straight women sometimes also prefer pants. And gay women sometimes prefer dresses. And both of those choices can be strong.

you have to pick and choose, but I have some lovely items from Modcloth that have lasted a long time. Don’t be afraid to use that return policy.

What does being bisexual have to do with your work attire? I’m bi, and I wear fabulous dresses to work, or ratty flannel and boots, or pencil skirts and heels, or jeans and a t-shirt. And when I do wear a retro-inspired dress, I don’t suddenly find myself demurely deferring to the opinions of the men around me.

A few weeks ago I took note of the dismal state of my closet and decided it was time to do some shopping. I went to the mall, and returned nearly in tears, because it was just so frustrating. I feel like I’m too old for Forever 21, and I’m just not dedicated enough to the skinny young professional game to do all my

I got my wedding dress there, too! It was kind of pricey for a Modcloth dress, but still way less than I would have paid at a bridal boutique. And I looked like a modern Glinda the Good Witch, so that’s a plus, too.

The quality really can be hit or miss, leaning slightly more towards hit. I usually place a big order, and buy a bunch more than I plan to keep, and probably send like half of it back. Their free shipping and awesome return policy make it easy.

It also strikes me as ridiculous that everything our TAXPAYERS (groan) say is a problem is actually something that needs to be addressed. I’m sure if he listened hard enough, he’d hear some TAXPAYERS who are “concerned about the possibility of intergalactic warfare”, but I don’t see him rallying to build the laser gun

Really scratching my head at this one. We have problems in WI because Milwaukee, but Milwaukee is part of Wisconsin...? Why is his brilliant influence somehow not reflected in Milwaukee-land? Is it possible that his governance just isn’t built for big cities? How does he plan to handle these problems in New York and

1 - what’s inside of me is, well, me. His self-proclaimed war on my uterus is a war on me.

I’m a bit older than you, but had guard dog software on my family computer as a teen. What you say about boundaries - yes, yes, yes. What everyone is saying about the need to protect your kids, or the fact that they don’t see it as a big deal to get these reports... in the hands of the wrong parent, this becomes SUCH

My mom installed software like this on our family computer when I was a teenager, and it seriously still makes my skin crawl. With all the perspective on various bad-idea teen behavior I’ve gained in the past 15 or so years, this is not something I’ve come to terms with as normal or acceptable. We had fights every day

oh god, is this actually a thing? Do you mark days off on your calendar until you’re expected to have sex again?

oh wowwwww

Well, as much as I’d love to solve the problem of transphobia in our society as a whole, that’s just not something I’m equipped to do today, so yes, I’m going to express my thoughts about this tasteless halloween costume. That’s not “my solution” - that’s a reasonable reaction to one part of the problem.

The people who are part of the community affected and hurt by these things get to decide context.

I don’t know if she has any other outfits that are as recognizable, but in theory, I’d be okay with someone dressing up as her - if the joke wasn’t “hey look at me, apparently I’m supposed to be a woman or something”. This particular outfit is recognizable as her coming-out outfit, though, so anyone who wears it will

Context. It’s called context. That’s what you’re missing.

OMG thank you, I may have to give it another go!

You know that the “homeless = insane” thing isn’t a super awesome joke, right?

God, yes. I could also see him aggressively ordering lighter fare for his date, despite her protests, and then sending the food back and calling the server an incompetent fuck.
