A knock-off of this bicycle was sold here in Canada. A childhood friend had one. It was called the Fastback 100, by Glider. They came in one colour only - orange. The gooseneck tube at the front was a bit longer on the Glider.  My inner Napoleon Dynamite says: “sweet bike”.

Corvette Ownership Rules:

The S550 Shelby GT-350. Bought into all the hype by the auto journo’s, decided to pick one up and got rid of it after a year. I still regret trading my Competition Orange Boss 302 and a wad of cash for that vibrator on four wheels.

The Buick “of yore” is long gone. That mark is now in the hands of GM China and when you have a billion people to sell to, you kinda get to call the shots. As one contributor already offered, Buick basically sells these smaller Buicks crossovers to older empty nesters. These customers are looking for comfortable

I too was a child Evel Kneivel back in the 70's and approve this post.

Just showed this to my wife. Without missing a beat, she say “must be a woman”. Blew my morning coffee out my nose.

Like to see you shit your pants handling an 10,000+ HP Top Fueler.

If you were around in the 70's & 80's, the SBC fanboys were no different than today’s LS guys.  Dime-a-dozen.

Take your damn star.

Yup.  And Adrienne Barbeau and Tara Buckman in 80's spandex suits.

I was waiting for someone to post this engine. I guess it took a while since most Jalops were born after this thing went out of production. As much as I hated them (I pumped gas as a teen and put more engine oil in slant sixes than any other engine out there - they leaked more than they burned), they were abundant

Let me be the first to inform you, anyone with a vast car collection doesn’t give a rat’s ass wether you’re impressed or not. And who the @#$% are you to tell someone how many collector cars they should be capped at owning and how often they should drive them? Earn your own fortune and lead by example. Otherwise, go

It takes about 4000 man hours to build a Singer Porsche. Consider a shop rate of $100-200/hr for a sustainable business, that can run at or above 3/4Mil in labor alone, and then add in the car purchase and all the one-off custom made parts and things start to ad up real quick.

I’m sure the comedian who goes by the name Fluffy would disagree with you. He own’s a stunning array of VW’s, mostly mirco buses restored to the nines. He invested in them because he said Jay Leno told him collector cars are good place to invest your money, if you have it. Also, that whole “souless” argument is such

If I had $2M pocket change, I would love to be one of the “75 fools” to part with a couple of mil to own a Singer DLS. These things are stunning works of art, with performance to match, and will only appreciate in value.

Forgive me, but was there a door crasher sale?

‘86 GT’s are cool. It was the last model year for the “four-eye” and the only four-eye available with the fuelie 5.0. Very desirable if clean. Not a fan of vert’s, wish it was a hatchback instead. Red or Black would be my preference, with a hardtop.

This right here!

Why were Cutlass’ so popular back in this er? If you have to ask then you weren’t around. It’s like asking, why was disco music so popular? Pretty much because it got you laid. We’re talking about an era where a guy in red shirt and cowboy hat made a movie using a black Trans Am that was a two hour ad for for the

Bus Driver has been found, but so far no comment.
