Corpsica.

By design, drive-by-wire systems will go into a limp home mode (reduced power) when the desired throttle body percentage doesn’t jive with the accelerator pedal input. I trust them more than mechanical systems since I’ve had two incident of stuck throttles. Once when the electrical wiring harness from an 70's

Pedal misapplication is the leading cause of vehicle unintended acceleration incidents. It’s exacerbated in EV’s when the operator uses the one-pedal-drive feature. It’s counterintuitive to the way we learn to drive, i.e., using the two pedal (or three pedal) system. It’s easy to make a mistake when you’re constantly

I have zero fuchs to give regarding Tesla Owners and their vehicle issues. Perpetual Schadenfreude is a free drug.

Too bad they weren’t being chased into a tunnel by French Paparazzi.  Too soon?

The stuff that’s being street driven every day - yes they will go by way of the Dodo. The high end stuff that are garage queens and polished to death at weekend cruises, they will live forever. Lot’s of 80's survivor or done up 5.0's are still coming out of the woodwork where I live.  It’s nice to see.  Same thing is

Best looking C3's were the first five model years before the ‘73 bumper standards kicked in. The C3 defined the silhouette of the Corvette for half a century, which is pretty cool - kind of wish GM never messed with it (i.e. you’d never see Porsche mess with the 911's silhouette). I was also fond of last two model year

One would need an update to their tetanus shots before operating that shift knob.

Fix one race in a series where the same driver wins race 90-95% races and then goes on to win the Championship year after year after year after year....

This is why I ride (and I’m not a serious rider) on either a path or the sidewalk - and I give courtesy to those walking on the sidewalk by going around them on the grass.  I’m in charge of my own safety.  Me + bike (240#).  Vehicle > 3000#.  Mass wins.

Wheels are hideous.  Getting an 80's flashback, which is not good.  It was a great decade for music, cars, no so much.

Only a Jalopnik editor could mistake Yugoslavia for the former Soviet Union.

First gen Colorado/Canyon. Total turds. Lousy 4 cyl, even worse 5cyl. Weird pattern 6 lug wheels, poorly executed global colaboration by the U.S., Brazil and Japen. Built in Shreveport Assembly, one of GM’s worst plants.

Why is it that the only people who complain about us Boomers and our Vettes are the asswipes who can’t afford them?

Here in Ontario, we pay 13% harmonized provincial and federal sales tax on pretty much every product, including vehicles. There is also and additional luxury tax on the differential over any final pre-tax price that exceeds $120K (i.e. selling price - $120k). Tell me that isn’t a sure way to discourage flipping.

This could easily be done (and I think it has). Manufacturers could discourage flippers by threatening to void a vehicle’s warranty if the vehicle is sold within a certain time period after it is purchased from new. It would be a big red flag to potential buyers. I’d have no problem with this strategy. Vehicle

Lada 1500. These things were imported into Canada back in the early to mid 80's. Total junk. The trunk was a fibreglass insert (talk about rear crush zone) and the gas tank sender was 1:1 with no buffer or filter. Basically like reading a John Deer lawn mower for fuel level. Drive down the highway and the fuel gauge

I’d cast Musk as the next Bond villain. No acting lessons required, he can play himself.

A good repurposing of your snowblower’s housing once the auger or engine take a sh!t.

Guss reportedly responded with, “Shut your bitch ass up.”
