As a former (adult) karter, I took the NASCAR approach “it ain’t cheating, unless you’re caught”. Even at this kid’s level, those families with money win most of the races. It’s hard to compete against a family with a successful business and an unlimited supply of cash. I used to race on a budget, a few grand a year.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. The difference between SHS and Spicer is that Spicer actually looked uncomfortable lying like a sack of shit where SHS seems to relish in it.

I saw video footage of an identical crash test performed at the ARC Crash Conference in Vegas, however it was a Grand Prix into the side of the ambulance. The outcome was pretty much the same - crashing into a movable brick wall.

@#$%ing Karma, I love you!

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. Seems like a great guy, and has a ‘uge following.

In due time, someone will finally leak it.

Easy to get penalized when you’re travelling.

Interesting. Did you work for GM?

I loved the first gen. Aurora, had one as a company car for a couple of months. It was joy to drive and it looked cool. I was so disappointed in the second gen. Aurora because it lost it’s character and it was bland to drive. I always thought the front end looked like a catfish, minus the whiskers. One of the best

I’m thankful that Megan Kelly and Bill O’Reilly never made babies together. I’m certain the would have created the next Anti-Christ.

Well, Dale Jr. is retiring. Maybe this could be a good gig for him as the next “American”. He’s good in front of the camera, he seems like a genuinly nice guy, and most importantly, he has a legion of fans that could easily become new Amazon subscribers.

Karma?

I’m with you on this one. It’s just like my car insurance premiums. I’m an excellent driver and my insurance fees are being used to repair the damaged vehicles of lousy drivers.

Someone (I think it was the writer) mentioned that the accelerometer in the Wagoneer crash test was located at the Cg of the vehicle - which makes sense. That’s where the airbag module is (theoretically) located in modern day vehicles with rollover sensing capability. It was usually placed in a location that it

Not correct. I’ve seen plots of sensors located all over the vehicle. The Delta-V traces are pretty much identical if you layed them atop of each other. Slight variations may be observed, but basically if the whole vehicle remains intact, it acts as one mass.

When the velocity trace crosses “zero”, that’s full vehicle crush. It has effectively stopped for an instantaneous moment in time, and then rebounds in the opposite direction.

(I’m not entirely sure why the acceleration isn’t negative throughout the impact):

His monologue last night was horrible, as was the whole show - to bad because SNL was killing it last season and every show this year has been a dud.

The Ring Brothers are @#$%ing magicians! If I could bang that car, I would...twice.

I would have kept that story under my hat. Daycare(s) in your area have already black listed her and are colluding with the good schools in your area to keep her from enrolling in the future. #keeptoddlersintheirplace
