The Acura TL

CTS-V Wagon. Done and done. Let Darwin figure it out for the people that this car is too fast to handle.

Thank you kind internet person!

I think it’s still a twist-beam axle on the rear just like the elantra...which is not ideal for a performance car.

276 hp would be a good hp number, plus a nod to the old “gentlemen’s agreement” of the 90's which this car is clearly trying to channel.  Shouldn’t be hard to get to that number, either.

Mercedes G-Wagon...because it looks like it was already built out of Legos.

The wheel gap on that car is quite wide. Ze Germans have found a way to make the wheel gap small while still offering a good ride. That, and the whole thing looks like they took parts of other cars and made a knockoff version. Here’s what I’m seeing:

Don’t ever let them make you change, Stef! That video is all that is right at Jalopnik (even though you’re “just” a freelancer now).

Love reading your work! Keep posting!

Eastbound and Down - Jerry Reed

but I’m from Georgia, so Smokey and the Bandit is life...

That is one of the ugliest, most boring center consoles on a 90k car I’ve ever seen. It looks like they had a nice shifter designed, then someone said, “Oh, put a rotary knob there, people love rotary gear shifters”

But is it still grounded to the ground?

Stanced....

That’s not the factory spoiler. Probably been wrecked pretty badly on the rear. Crack pipe because of that.

Rental car fleets. That’s the only way I’ve seen one in the wild.

I hate the predator front end. It prevented me from wanting a newer model IS when it was time to buy a new vehicle.

Sorry to hear that and I hope it gets found before the chop shop finishes stripping it. Hopefully she has receipts and such for all of the modifications and can get insurance to cover it if it ends up being a total loss or not recovered.

I love every single article about this car. It takes me back when Sport Compact Car magazine had their Project 300ZX and did so many cool things to it.
