My wife went to grad school in Charlotte and loved Bojangles so she was over the moon when the first one opened near us in Ohio. I personally think it's the best Chick-Fil-A alternative

At least around the Cleveland area at Christmas there are two cherry cordial options. And it's like picking a holy grail in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. If you buy a pack of Cherry Cordials from the local chocolate company they're delicious and everyone likes them. Made with real cherries, excellent chocolate…
If you really want fried turkey on Thanksgiving chef steps has two great suggestions:
To my mind the biggest flaw of DiGiorno was the fact that it has so much sauce on it that a slice holds a truly obscene amount of heat. I have bitten into many a slice of DiGiorno only to have my hand covered in a tsunami of sauce-lava.
Brecksville fried chicken is what happens when you haven’t eaten Barberton chicken in years and forget to double check which NE Ohio town starting with B has the chicken.
As an Ohioan I put this list under one of those regional things like Brecksville Fried Chicken: just because it’s culture doesn’t make it good. A cursory glance reveals there are several Steubenville pizzerias that melt their cheese and toppings on to the pizza like Bacchus intended.
Similarly vanilla ice cream when trying out a new brand.
This is my go to, I’ve used it instead of sriracha for months, a little thinner but it makes a damn good bacon, egg and cheese. https://www.humblehousefoods.com/online-store/Guajillo-&-Red-Jalapeno-Hot-Sauce-p57990962
Unlike most dubious health advice though, if you follow that one you wind up with delicious local honey either way.
Now someone just has to explain to me why they can’t make a double-decker taco when they have all the ingredients.
I did a tortilla soup recipe I winged last night, I was pretty happy with it.
Does he not know that Dune came out a week after his movie?
While we’re at it can they bring back the Double Decker Taco? I mean I know it wasn’t nearly as popular as the Mexican Pizza but they literally have all the ingredients to make one in every Taco Bell *right now* the only reason they’re not making it is spite.
I mean maybe before they spent however much research money on new fries they could have spent less money putting some delivery reheating instructions on the back. Airfryer makes them good as new. Oven will at least make them crispy again.
Why does this need to be a thing when Liege Waffles are already a thing? I mean...
One of my friends is a total Sugar Monster, and every time we go get ice cream somewhere is go to order is a cookies and cream milkshake, malted. I love a Chocolate Malt myself, but this thing was literally the sweetest thing I had ever tasted, and not in a great way. At least this has more malt flavor.
I honestly always keep these on hand but never for mashed potatoes, they’re also great for breading things with. 1 to 1 potatoes and panko with a little parmesean and you can bread shrimp, chicken, whatever you like.
I guess there are plenty of places where what’s usually considered a mistake is ‘how we’ve always done it’. Like those places where they serve cheeseburgers with a flying saucer of crispy cheese and such.
“Ghost in the Machine”
I mean I was only really considering getting these for topping hot chocolate or an occasional palmful, I wasn’t really looking to eat a bowl.
