Good lord that’s a terrifying story.
Good lord that’s a terrifying story.
My old man’s 08 SRT-10. It’s no surprise here but what makes me think it’s so scary to drive quickly is how sensitive some of the controls are. It has race-car-quick steering as well as brakes. You’re mid turn and holding on for dear life, and a tiny twitch of the wheel can send you off balance. Then you accidentally…
SAD. My dad has a gen 4 that I enjoy the great pleasure of getting to drive. It’s a fantastic car. It’s more of a street legal race car than the corvette is. Way more exotic. So fast. Much grip. Wow.
Yeah exactly.
unbelievable! I was lapping the ring today in forza 6 and was pondering this myself!
Hey I guess there is a first time for everything...reading on Jalopnik that the 2002 is “old and ugly”!
But what would change from when they were selling this car with the B6 Passat? It was a failure. I’m not really a fan of the B7 but it’s a hell of a lot nicer to drive than a Toyota Camry.
It would start at$35,000 and no one would buy it. They tried that with the B5 and 6 Passat and it didn’t work. Interestingly, the B5-6 wagons are really popular in the used market but I don’t think that would reflect on new car buyers.
I felt strange reading this article. I don’t know how to explain it. It would be nice if there was an enhanced APE-FART model that does not require anal entry. A 2.0 model should be in the works Torch. Please.
He’s not very good. What was the difficulty on, easy peasy?
I agree with what J Tenno says. I can’t drive with the nannies on. I’d rather just let the tires spin and learn how to reign it in. Also, the Xbox one has force feedback in each trigger so you can feel when you’re going to break loose accelerating or braking. I could never figure out the clutch even when I tried…
And a ride in one would make your pants tight in the back too.
You must construct additional pylons
I think the most frustrating part of this contract is how little space you have to write in the VIN.
Not necessarily. This was reporting on all the cool cars and provided the backstory and connection between them. We can all sit at our keyboards and do our own research but he made it interesting and fun to learn a little here and there about these neat cars.
I’ve been to lots of vintage races and seen many 250 GTOs and while they are always awesome to see, it’s like the token fancy car there. There are so many unique and weird lesser known cars that have incredible histories to learn about. It’s like going back in time and talking to George Washington versus going back in…
YAY! This was so fun to watch! I love the stories behind the cars and talking about it so funny-like made my day. I’m probably about your age Raph and you know your shit.
Haha I certainly understand his frustration. There could probably be a better model but there are good people in all polarizing industries.
It’s the nature of the beast huh? In car sales specifically it’s difficult because of all the competition, but it is probably beneficial to the consumer. It can get confusing very quickly and a few bad eggs (dealerships) ruined the process for everyone.
Well, sir, lobby to your state politicians to approve manufacturer direct car sales. Until then, you don’t have a choice. Many dealerships and car salespeople are trying hard to break that mold and offer a very good car buying experience. Regardless, I don’t work in the industry anymore, but the dealership I worked…
