Definitely in the world of used cars. New cars are a different beast because you’re working with manufacturer interest rates and subsidies. Most car companies don’t even offer sub prime leases. Regardless, a $28 increase in monthly payment to some people is a tragedy of all tragedies. Like I might as well have looked

Hey man there’s a reason I got out of the industry completely. It was my first job after college and an extremely good learning experience in my life. Everyone should work some type of customer service or sales job in his or her life. People are fucking nuts though and abusive toward car salespeople on a daily basis.

So true.

Yeah you’re definitely in the minority. People would be better off if they thought about it in those terms as well.

YOU KNOW MY TRUTHS IT WAS A LIE!!!

It’s tough because many customers only care about monthly payment. Usually they are uneducated on the car buying process and don’t care about the other details.

This was my experience selling:

As others have said, these historic/ collector plates have vague rules that are almost impossible to enforce. I have no idea! haha

Is THAT Ivana Trump? Oh jeeze Patrick...I mean Marcus what are you thinking? Why would Ivana be at Tex Arcana?

I was probably...returning video tapes.

Yeah that’s what it is in NJ. It’s hard to enforce but when you go out for a drive, at least have an excuse ready in case you get pulled over!

I just moved to DC and that’s probably what the average person drives who actually lives in city limits anyways. Unfortunately the past two weeks the only time I got in my car was to move it for street cleaning. Looking forward to that ending October 31st all the way till spring!

But you have to add the limitations to register as a collector or historic vehicle. What are those for DC? In NJ my dad registered his 86 911 as a historic and although you don’t have to get emissions testing, there is a modest mileage cap and you literally have to be going to/ from a car show or some other type of

These cars pass inspection, they just do it illegally. There would be no way for a normal inspection station to test this unless the VIN is flagged until the repair is made.

I am a whiskey guy but what whiskey was he expecting to get? Whiskey is a generic term for fermented grain- I’d think a basic bourbon like Beam would be what I’d mention unless he asked for something specific. If anything, bourbon would be closer to a generic whiskey than scotch whiskey. What did I miss?

Haha that’s amazing. It was incredible to see up close, but I can’t imagine what it was like out in the open in the sun! Murica.

What did they do with the original one that normally sits at the Simeone museum in Philly? It was there when I went to visit earlier this year and as the only unrestored Daytona I didn’t think it’d be race ready. That chassis was there running?

You shall cut down the largest tree in the forest with...a herring!!!!
