In all fairness, no one is actually from DC. Everyone moves here from all parts of the country and then start going to the games and rooting for the team, but it’s not 2, 3 or 4 generations of fans understanding what’s going on. It will get better as time goes on.

Well what do you mean better? I wouldn’t argue the GT40 is faster than this around the track but in the context of the competition, not much could beat the GT40 at the time at any price. The GT40 is still a marvel of a performance car given the time it was built.
