The engine nuckle can cause you some problems if you’re wheels aren’t aligned up right but it definitely gives you more boost in the top side.

What do you use to dry a car?

I like porsche race cars but that livery is awful on the 911 rsr. Not a fan of how the wide body looks on the z4 but the black livery is great. Anyone know what was up with the seeming maserati spec series?

I don’t like how reporters talk. Seatbelts do make a difference. Thanks lady.

UGH it was a wheel lock issue. I was driving to DC from northern NJ and got a flat right after I went over the delaware memorial bridge. It was Saturday night around 8:30 in October and it was lightly raining; I thought no problem, I have a full size spare and all the tools.

We need a Jalopnik user database that catalogs user experiences. You have a 4c right?

Cool! It’s a crap shoot. Most leased cars are in descent shape because people know they’ll get charged for any damage. Alternatively, things like overall abuse are pretty hard to detect at first.

They sell way more GTIs than GLIs so that makes sense. I sold VWs for a few years and I’m not surprised. Either way, you’re lucky! That’s a great situation and I’m glad you got to stay in a fun ride. Which do you like better? I thought the GLI for some reason was always a little more funky and unique but I have an 08

I started laughing at “Carrol Ford”

HOW DID I GET HERE?

...Car

You might call this An Car.

Thanks!

Tom please take me out of the greys on car buying.

What was the car that you ended up in equity leasing?

How is that an appropriate analogy? I’m sure you spend money on things that seem frivolous to other people. Some people want to lease a cheap car, have lower monthly payments and everything always covered under warranty. Again, my car is 8 years old with 100k+ on the clock and I have no intention of selling it but

If I remember correctly, GMAC should have pictures of the damage if they’re charing you for it as evidence but I’m not sure. It sounds like you can’t do much about it now but that’s a terrible experience.

Leasing Works For Some People But Apparently Not You. I Do Not Lease Either But It Is Good For Some People. Value Is Relative.

It’s VERY rare. Cars like the WRX are the only common ones I can think of but unless the car has a market value that increased over time, is relatively rare, and is in exceptional shape and under miles it almost never happens. The residual value is a critical component of a lease price and that number is designed to

Have you called GMAC? Sometimes you can negotiate that. Almost all leases have a lease end inspection that takes place so that your experience specifically is avoided. Did the dealer tell you specifically to not worry about the inspection or does GMAC not have a lease end inspection?
