So it wasn't just me that was freaking out about that? I almost forgot about the start of the race because of it.

Sounds agreeable to me. And unlike all of the other yahoos that are going to come in here and say "We want it near us," Austin actually makes sense.

What this guy said.

This might be one of the best articles I've read on Jezebel, and the comments are as inoffensive as has ever existed on a jezebel article. This is almost uplifting.

They could care less, so it is possible for them to care less, so they do care?

It's a Baja Bug: 100% automatic NP

wtf?!

So how do we spin this to blame it on Republicans?

It's not really a matter of "most" car companies following GAAP, it's a case of ALL (publicly traded) car companies (and publicly traded firms of any type and most private firms as well) having to follow GAAP. It's not wrong, per se, to do what they did, but it's not what's going on their 10K.

Not exactly unexpected. Profitability currently hinging on tax credits/abatements that may be going away. Lots of growth/potential built into the price. There are strong fundamentals in there (in a way), but there's a lot of hype in the price.

Methinks they know the difference and are just playing dumb. Nor did GT500 ever mean 500HP on the original.

This is maybe the second time that I've heard an American refer to a dynamometer as a rolling road. For the most part, everyone here just calls it a dynamometer or 'dyno'.

SKZ?

Can't relax, way too worked up about this.

Ralph,

Finally, a sane soul that prefers Low End to Midnight Marauders!

Thanks again for the info, I'm woefully unqualified to fool around with that, but I may give it a run anyway

Thanks for the link!

Awesome, thanks for the response.
