What is interweb? How is babby formed?
“The Baltimore police ask that you remain in your seats while they figure out the best way to escalate the situation.”
Stephen A. Smith is the ultimate low-hanging fruit. His job is to be low-hanging fruit; just noticing anything he…
It’s a good thing there is no “Deadspin on Tape” or Floyd would be very upset at you guys.
Regardless of a justice system, as failed as it often is, deeming his punishment as appropriate, the media and the public can still ask how such a piece of shit with such a violent past towards women is not only allowed to continue to box, but more so, ask why so much of the media and the public simply white wash his…
Yeah, I agree. I don’t think games or add-ons cost enough these days.
I like the one that removes imperials breaking the game. Released by fuck valve.
Damn, I’ve always wanted to pay money for the ability to pay money for a game I paid money for.
and in this case, silly overpriced mods.
“I tell ya maybe the best I ever saw at ‘see that guy in the satin jacket, knock him over when you’re brawling by the dugout’ was Yaz.”
I agreed with the first part, then I read the second sentence. It completely captures the attitude that makes everybody despise Boston sports fans. Giving you a +1 for more exposure.
Was waiting for somebody to mention a behavioral economics principle somewhere. When people say this will kill modding this is the kind of thing they mean. When people can charge, they will charge, and the large communal passion projects will die. Mods will cease to exist and only paid DLC will remain. We all just…
Yes but these mods are done as a hobby. By having to negotiate payment you might have to involve lawyers if the mod takes off. Contracts will have to be drafted up. Creators will see their work more valuable than others and demand more pay or hold out knowing you need their assets. Do you pay them a one time payment?…
I completely understand why modders would like compensation but I don’t think this is the way to go about it. Especially with the Bethesda titles. We’ve already had our run in with Horse Armor we don’t need another. There was a huge backlash at Bethesda for hawking overpriced and mostly useless DLC. The same thing is…
Actually, a lot of times when you add the possibility of a monetary reward to the work, it leads to a decrease in the quality of work or a completely different outcome. It’s called a Perverse Incentive.
I don’t like it. There’s nothing wrong with people charging for the content they create, but it’s a sea-change in mentality.
My real concern is complicity with developers who release half-assed or partially finished products, then intrepid modders step in to fill the gap, charge for the finished product. The modders…
GG modding community.
All we’re going to see are over priced mods everywhere. At least there might be a few better ones... but this is a double edged sword.
As much as I love the article Kirk, there are things you missed talking about, including the name of some of the characters how they are actually literal meanings such as Skinner, Hatcher, Roper, Shooter and Weaver. Names that just sound either crazy or killers.
There is also the appearance of the famous Stephen…
I approve of this article, especially the formal reading of the satirical elements. This is, indeed, the best Edgar Wright film in his career. Yes, Shaun of the Dead is good, but Hot Fuzz is worlds better.
