Obtaining an MD or DO requires effort and academic capacity, but it shouldn’t be taken as any indication of personal integrity. There are plenty of MDs that do shady crap, knowing full well that they’re hurting people along the way.

The Hick may have been a reasonably acceptable compromise option in the local and state politics that he grew out of, but I’m not sure he’s going to add much to this primary season.  He’s set to be the Martin O’Malley of 2020.

That would actually be pretty trippy...to recast everyone in the entire X-Men franchise, except Deadpool.  And then have Deadpool spending a couple minutes freaking out that everyone’s different when he runs into them.

It’s like Godzilla vs Mothra...no matter who wins, we all still lose.

Fuck it. We’re already staring into the abyss...if that’s what it takes to avoid another 4 years of this mess, I’m game.

This is as surprising as a payday lender’s industry group coming out against stronger usury laws. Pay it no mind.

Moreover, what was the alternative?  Flying coach?  Taking a Greyhound?  Driving there in a beat up old Toyota Tercel?  I mean, he’s supporting a presidential campaign, not trying to get home from college for summer break.

Wait...so, dude gets caught with clear evidence of conspiring to commit voter fraud (and then one of his consultants goes and commits said voter fraud), and he gets a fucking do-over?

So...the party that’s over-the-top paranoid about voter fraud is actually responsible for the only confirmed incident of outright voter fraud in recent memory (at least that I’m aware of)?

This!

While not incorrect, I’m not sure that would be much better.

I still argue that Steven Miller may actually be Andy Serkis in a motion-capture suit playing a creepy, unhinged villain.

Consistency is only a virtue if you’re not a screw-up to start with.

When you have the votes to ram your preferred legislation through both houses of Congress and get the President to sign it, you can put whatever you want in it and scream, “Come at me, bro!!!” to the other side.  When you don’t, and you want to accomplish anything more than a statement...compromise is unavoidable.

Hey, it’s progress. Right now, prominent members of the House majority are talking about a baby step forward. Two years ago, prominent members of the House majority were talking about proactively making healthcare more expensive and less accessible.

There was plenty of outrage...he and his supporters just didn’t care.

I’ll be the first to admit that referencing “hypnotism” in the tweet was a bad choice of words...but even if she had led with a dry, technical criticism of AIPAC and worked into specific policy disagreements with the government of Israel, it likely would have been met with some disingenuous shouting about
