The lack of focus does kind of feel weird. The main story is great and all, but it feels like it should come with a real sense of urgency. At the same time, you always have like 20 other side quests, contracts and treasure hunts going on at once. And there’s no downside to the main story if you get completely

The fact that their core business finally has legit competition from companies that can bring economies of scale and better QC doesn’t help. Lord knows, a lot of people (myself included) would take a Mustang Mach-E over a similarly spec’ed Model 3 based on features & build quality and over a base Model S based on

The fact that this race was even remotely close, much less one that requires a run-off, is deeply unsettling on multiple levels.

Once again, Republicans prove that “it’s not a gun violence crisis, it’s a mental health crisis!” is a completely disingenuous argument and that they’re really just a-ok with senseless, preventable deaths.

Hey, now…state colleges can still be (comparatively) damn expensive, too - especially if you didn’t see much of an income bump from your education. I’ve been chasing the same $20k I borrowed to finish my degree at a state school in circles for the better part of 20 years, and I’ve still got a few years left before

Yeah, it’s an unpleasant time to buy a car. My older daughter is getting her driver’s license soon, and I’m sick of chauffeuring her around for all of her school, band and sports functions, so I want her to have some transportation. But finding anything decent that falls solidly in the “cash car” category at this

It’s a machine for installing tires on rims.

Man, I loved my 2012 Fit. Handled well, easy to park, huge cargo area with the back seat folded down, just enough power to get out of trouble (without so much that I was ever tempted to intentionally get into trouble).

It’s a step in the right direction, but car buying is still a miserable process at this point. It’s never been a walk in the park, but it’s exponentially worse now than in the before times.

Yeah, now that Hyundai/Kia is making objectively decent cars, why do their dealerships still make you feel like you’re about to get gauged at a Rent-A-Center in a bad part of town?

This! I’ve resigned myself to most of the quirks of iOS, but I still hate that you can’t set various audio functions to different volume levels. Like, sometimes I want to hear the phone ring or get text chimes without also getting every random, obnoxious notification noise.

Calling it a “unicorn” maybe overly optimistic. But your options at this price point are generally pretty awful, so this one seems solid by comparison. If you’re looking for a cash car for a teenager, or just need transportation on a tight budget…I’d say this qualifies as a NP for what it is.

Ah, but mandating that manufacturers include them in new cars doesn’t mean that you must personally use them. In the spirit of freedom, justice, the ‘Murican way, etc…you could just drive an older car.

It’ll hemorrhage progressively more users and advertisers as it becomes even more awful and toxic, and become this generation’s AOL/Time Warner merger in terms of corporate hubris and wasted capital.

This. Cutting and running to New England or the West Coast seems like a sensible choice in the short term. Other than the moving expense and higher housing costs (which are not insignificant), it’s certainly easiest to vote with your feet. But that doesn’t solve the problem. It leaves your friends and former neighbors

That could be a great plan…if they also got Manchin and Sinema on board and then opted to do away with the filibuster to keep the Republicans from jamming it up. But as-is, the Democrats legislative agenda is DOA until at least after the midterms (and even then, only if things go a *lot* better than currently

And at the end of the day…it’s still an 8 year old game that’s regularly on sale for like $10. Don’t get me wrong - TW3 is great, and I still haven’t gotten through the DLC yet. But I’d rather they focus their efforts on producing a not-broken-and-buggy Series X/PS5 native TW4 and let TW3 fade away as a beloved

I’m about five hours in, and it’s been fun. The setting is interesting - definitely different than anything else I’ve played in recent memory. My gripes are mainly with the controls (kind of hard to aim with a controller - was definitely designed with a mouse and keyboard control scheme in mind) and the tiny font on a

It’s an interesting change of pace. There are too many games where the sheer preponderance of side quests and the lack of any sense of urgency on the main story leave you just kind of…drifting (see also DA: Inquisition). This at least forced you to prioritize a little more purposefully.

It’d be a non-issue if I was single, lived alone and just needed to get a snack and use the restroom.
