True (at least, I certainly hope), but it’s a show that wastes time and money. It’s ludicrous that they’re even bothering.

Agree. Plus, the essays and letters in the back of each issue are well worth not waiting for the trades. I love this series.
My partner’s name is Alexander (goes by Alex) so I call him “Lex” or “Xander” sometimes to annoy him. When I’m being nice, I’ll call him “cutie,” as I do think he’s pretty cute. We both frequently refer to each other as “Hey you” around the house.
Yep. I’ve been doing this for over a year straight. It is the best. My doc actually prescribed my pills for me this way, because I used to get menstrual migraines when I did my week on the placebos.
That’s how I read it, too. Sounded to me like the server was trying to make sure she couldn’t complain about her food being cold.
I am unreasonably terrified of wasps. I have been stung before, I know exactly how bad it is, but that does nothing to change my paralyzing fear. I guess at least know that I’m a grown-up, at least I don’t scream and run anymore?
Your friend is right. My family swings by Lambert’s on every road trip. I got hit by an airborne roll gone astray once, and the only result was an extra roll for me and a good laugh for my dad (they’d been aiming for someone at the table next to us).
I swear by Southwest and have for years. The only times I’ve ever had luggage problems were when I didn’t fly Southwest.
Is this what you were looking for?
Wait. Is this a real place? If so...
One of the nice things I can say about my very first ever job in a DQ in a very small town is this: it is such a small town that everyone knows everyone else. If you make a scene at DQ (everyone’s favorite place to eat, because, let’s face it, it’s 1/3 of the restaurants in this town), the entire town will hear about…

Agree. My sister had not one, not two, but three “oopsie” babies. I guess “don’t reproduce” wasn’t as high on her to-do list as it is on mine (I’m in the no kids ever camp). She’s incredibly lucky in that she’s got a great support system (and is an awesome mom), but she and her partner didn’t put much thought at all…
Seriously the best. I cannot abide spray dry shampoos at all, and this is my favorite of the powders. I like the light scent, plus it’s a light mustard-y yellow color, so it doesn’t stand out as much when you’re trying to work it in as the white powders against dark hair. And it does last forever.

Stupid cat names are great. My cat’s name is Mo, but became Momo over time, because it sounds derpier and is more... an onomatopoeia of my cat, basically. She responds just as well to any additional “mo” syllables added to her name, and is frequently called: Momomomomo, Fluffykins, The Mominator, Bunny, and Owlbear,…
I had furminators for my kitties (one long hair, one short hair), and for the former the teeth just weren’t long enough to get to her undercoat (which is the real problem). For the short-haired kitty, it didn’t seem to stem the tide of shedding at all, because that cat projectile sheds when stressed, and she is…
My aunt would agree. She worked for NASA back around when Armageddon came out and met Steven Tyler a few times. He was her favorite because he’s so nice to everyone.
I would have been drinking a lot more water as a teenager, if they’d done that.
My answer is “sort of”. My doc prescribed that I start continuous cycling my pills—the same ones I’ve been on for 10+ years, that my body is already used to—to stop my menstrual migraines. It worked like a charm! Unfortunately, my insurance company refuses (even after four rounds of phone calls from my doc’s office)…
This is what gets me about so many of these stories (and so many of my own memories)—for men who say shit like that to women and girls, it’s a throwaway comment. They will probably never remember that moment. But I have lived with all of these comments my entire life, and will continue to do so. I can tell you where I…
