Hear hear, friend. I grew up in rural MO, and visit my family there frequently. We’re all throwing confetti.

Momo (big fluffy belly) and Callie (small dainty shorthair). They both like belly rubs, and it is (usually) not a trap!

Okay... this looks bad.

I think this entire post doesn’t understand what a zaddy is. I’m going with this tumblr explainer I found a while back:

As a current Seattle resident, I’m afraid I can’t be so positive. Racism is alive and well here, and certainly played a part in this poor woman’s murder.

I largely have Jezebel (okay, and one superfan friend from college) to thank for my absolute addiction to this show. I, too, was pleasantly surprised by how well the show has done post time-jump.

Can confirm, quality is great, especially for the price. I stock up every time they have a sale like this—Aerie is all I wear now.

Good point! I have one cat that’s prone to eating not-food things like string, Easter grass, any and all plants, etc., and one who is not. I use the homemade ribbon toy only if I’m actively playing with them (and don’t leave it out where they can get it for themselves).

Some excellent suggestions here—some of which I can vouch for, having tested them with my own QA agents (i.e. my two cats). Another one to add to the list:

This is delightful. One of my cats adores me, follows me around the house, and does stuff like the above picture. The other one, not so much, but she shows her appreciation in other ways.

Yeah, the grooming is definitely a time investment. But, I don’t mind it and my Maine Coon mix loves brushing time. We got a Roomba to help with the “tumbleweeds” of cat hair, which has improved things a lot, too.

I have a Maine Coon mix and she plays fetch and does other dog-like things. The best of both worlds! Though she is incredibly clumsy for a kitty.

According to friends who’ve worked in politicians’ offices, the hierarchy of constituent communication/feedback goes: phone calls > physical letters > emails. Apparently, emails often largely go unread/ignored. So, I aim for phone calls personally, but do what you can! Physical letters certainly don’t hurt. And I’m

I feel like it can’t really hurt to let them know they’re doing something right. Look at it this way, regardless of whether you’re calling to give them a thumbs-up or get them to change their minds about something, you’re making your voice heard, and your opinion is being counted. It’s good for them to know where

Good luck with the tiny floofs! All the advice others have given here is good and sound. Food, getting on their level (meaning, sitting on the ground, next to food), and talking calmly and quietly is a good way to start.

Flute, also drum major senior year!

Seriously magic. I remember the days of yore when my mom used to carry Shout wipes everywhere, which were marginally more effective than cold water and a napkin. Tide pens have saved many a conference outfit from coffee.

I have a (soft-sided) 22" Delsey rolling carry-on that I bought in 2009 and loooove. It has been with me all over the country and around the world a few times—even made it through being checked and mangled by airports. At the time, I remember cringing hard at spending so much on a suitcase (I was barely out of my

This makes me so happy. I grew up demanding the TV on Saturday afternoons so I could watch “Painting Show.”

My homestate is a shitshow. There’s a reason I ran like hell away to college.
