“Don’t Tread on Me” is a flag that would support the protesters.

If they actually believed in "Don't tread on me", they would be outraged that an American citizen was publicly murdered by an agent of their government.

The headline incorrectly identifies these things as “men”, they are men only in the trumpian sense of being small, ignorant cowards. These are the the kind of “men” whose only historical significance is in refining the proper carriage and display of the white flag.
