Gross way to end, and I don’t know how well I’d be able to celebrate if I’d been supporting Japan.

It’s another internet BS rule.

Good to know!

I would break it down more to:

I wish it did.

I find it hard to believe, due to the Moore’s law. In 5 years, there will be mobile SOC’s far more powerful than Galaxy Note 4. Plus, instead of running on inefficient Android, it’s running on an entirely customized OS - like a tiny linux kernel compiled solely for the hardware/features in play. That would be present

Same here. When I was married and wearing The One Ring, women were far more flirty with me. I can only guess at the psychology. Perhaps they’re thinking, “How much of a creep can he be? I mean, he’s married!”

ACTING!!!

I’m reformed. Went a little nuts on a flash-modded 360 a few years ago. Found I felt not only guilty, but had little appreciation for the games I had. Went out, bought a regular, slim 360, bunch of used games, a few new ones, and some live titles. Actually felt pretty good to “go straight”.

Right, Sony won the 2016 E3 maybe, but not this one.

That sounds like a reasonably hypothesis, but more for 50’s-70’s style parenting. Those men did very little “parenting”, and likely due exactly what you mentioned.

Why not? It doesn’t excuse it. Clearly there are a lot of racists/homophobes out there. Millions upon millions. So, what characteristic defines that tiny percentage who are willing to commit horrific acts based solely on their racism/homophobia. I would call that “derangement”.

...current media pushed western society does not provide a moral, sociological and philosophical grounding

Yes - you can use this to do all your in-game pipboy stuff, according to the presentation.

What I’m getting from this board is that racist microagressions are, like, super common. Classic “pickup line” negs, not so much. Which is sort of what I expected.

I’m sure there are few places / times where the joint is jumpin, but it won’t likely be like the multitude of DDR-crazed places I saw a decade+ ago.

I’m guessing that the Oculus folks, who’ve got the most experience with the product, also seemed to have stumbled upon this odd fact, hence the preponderance of 3rd person demos at E3.

I’ve been going to Tokyo regularly for about 14 years. I was there last October and was highly disappointed in the arcade scene. The floor space is dominated by “claw” games. And some music games, and a few shooty games.

They’re thinking it’s still 1998, back when there was a clear advantage doing “creative” work on a Mac.

I have a pair of red Sony over-the-ear headphones that fold up and cost like $30 - and sound pretty much like beats.
