Did Otani ask Kershaw and Turner to interrupt their wedding and anniversary planning meetings? Or did the Dodgers ask them to do that?

“...in the middle of planning his wedding.”

The fucking irony of a bunch of baseball players complaining about time delays.

“When I met with him, he looked me dead in the eye and said he supported the anthem protests. That he was impressed by people calling attention to police brutality. Complete waste of time.”

It is kindof funny that the two teams in the second-biggest market in the country, and (arguably) the entertainment capital of the world, have possibly the two best players in the game (Kershaw and Trout) and their personalities are both about as marketable as a sack of potatoes. And I say this as an Angels fan of 20+

Has Kershaw considered that maybe Ohtani was bored because Kershaw is one of the most boring professional athletes out there? Dude has never given an interesting interview in his life; I can’t imagine he’d be able to give a good sales pitch.

Between this and Bartolo now being in the AL, the reasons for having a pitcher hit are zero... DH for everyone!

This is mediocre Kinja.

The DCCC is not losing its mind because of her comment. It is losing its mind because she would not hire their overpriced consultants.

I mean the fact that it’s got an Eiffel Tower with a cowboy hat on it speaks volumes.

DCCC: Because it’s better to lose with the right candidate than win with the wrong one.

Shooting themselves in the foot is by turning off enough voters that it can turn the tide of an election.

The fact is the DCCC attacking one candidate, arguably the most Progressive of the bunch, when the Dems likely lost the 2016 Election for doing just that, is moronic.

And honestly...primaries always have some degree of intra-party blood letting depending on what race you look to. This really doesn’t shock me. You look to the Senate race, that was pretty much settled for the Democrats. Many of the House races were settled as well. This one had a bit of blood-letting and has to end

We need to be on the same page for once!

I’m sorry if you may have had a negative experience with Unions. Unions have and can be a positive force for social change on all fronts.

Moser said she’d “rather have my teeth pulled out without anesthesia” than move back to Texas (though she was talking about another part of the state, not Houston)

Uhhhh, do you not think the University of Texas is a gov’t institution?

Unions are democracy in action in the workplace. Any Democrat who is anti-union is not a progressive and does not belong in an opposition party to the corporate power that is destroying this country. Shame on the DCCC for supporting an actual union buster. That should raise as much disgust as supporting a Klan member.
