Love it.

I think we both known the “prices have to go up” story isn’t always true. I think there’s some other things that could happen, but we also both know they won’t.

I haven’t paid for software other than MMOs and such since I pirated DOS 5 as a kid, seems to work pretty well. The funny thing is now that I can easily afford to it is hard to break the habit.

Yes, it is common practice here. Republicans are largely against any kind of unionization because they claim it is bad for business. What they mean is, giving employees rights makes it harder for corporations to treat their hired help like slaves. I’m not saying the Democrats have done much to fix these problems, but

It literally is their fault for exploiting contract workers for this exact reason. 1099 is a cancer on the industry at large.

Not really. The quote comes at the tail end of a litany of offenses that are completely on Telltale. And with no additional explanation in the article itself (a paranthetical would’ve been adequate), the implication is that the contractor situation is somehow their fault, too.

No kidding. That was such good advice that I shot down here immediately to see if anyone had already quoted it.

Thats why I pirate all my games.

Fear of their own employees. And total lack of humanity/empathy on the part of upper management (who I’ll guarantee is also getting their severance). This is just proof of them knowing that what they did was wrong and fucked up - they were banking on their employees just being to shocked to respond in any way in that

“Don’t work overtime unless you’re paid for it, y’all. Protect your health. Companies don’t care about you.”Everyone should get this tattooed on their chest, or arm, or someplace else easily visible so they see it every morning when they get up and look at themselves in the mirror.

Hot Take: Former Zynga Staff Member Lays off majority of new Company exactly like what happened with Zynga 5 years ago.

Huh, someone’s already replied to you by extolling the virtues of the free market and how it’s the only way. These people are the absolute worst because they hide behind their intellectualism to justify rotten public policy and anti-human corporatism.

That’s the problem with having a rigged system. They will kill Obamacare because we didn’t bother actually constructing a democracy with legitimate free and fair elections.

That is the same as the Democrat’s strategy too; do stuff the donors want, and not change anything for fear that the few voters they might lose will not be outweighed by the chunk they stand to gain if they did change.

Unless there’s way to comparison shop for health care during emergencies, urgent care, and elective care with fully inclusive pricing and full transparency on what you’re getting for your money, etc. market-based healthcare can never work.*

It makes me absolutely purple-faced ragey-livid that these twats are so blatantly unconcerned about consistently ignoring WHAT THEIR CONSTITUENTS WANT, with impunity.

You’re not even fucking trying today.

Well yeah that’s how they market it. Of course the party leaders know that #3 isn’t going to happen.

It’ll never cease to blow my mind that the Republicans strategy for healthcare for the last 40 years has essentially been:
