always bugs me when I put the number of years since the game was kickstarted into the headline and forget that development actually started in 2010-11.

I just double checked and there wasn’t any update on the scheduling from the Destiny or Bungie Twitter accounts. While Paul Tassi reported that the event was delayed as a “grace period” that doesn’t change the fact that people were told to show up at 1:00 p.m. ET and then didn’t see the big boom until 2:30 p.m.
For me Goldfingers,”Superman” is probably the most iconic track. None of these will be missed particularly, but its surprising they couldn’t get licensing. Super excited about the remakes.
Imagine if The Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within came out first and everyone loved the style of it. Then The Sands of Time came out second and changed all that. I think that’s how people feel about D3.
a far better answer than was deserved tbh lol
What would you define as an assault rifle? As ex US Army infantry, I’ve shot a lot of guns. The only difference between your AR15 and the M4 most people in the military use is that theirs has a 3-round burst option that no one would ever use.
You wanna argue that “assault rifle” is semantics used to scare people who…
It doesn’t help that one of the major villains early on is a fairy looking lady with bright purple butterfly wings. That kind of character belongs in Warcraft, not Diablo.
It’s all about tone. Diablo was always a lot darker and horror inspired. The world was often presented as a very gritty and bleak setting. They used pagan and satanic imagery with atmospheric and subtle music. Diablo III is just a cartoon with generic orchestra and nothing to suggest anything in that world is really…
They meant the art style. Not the locales.
It’s fine to say a game has dark marshes, cathedrals, skeletons, and zombies in it, but so does the Zelda franchise. It’s a matter of how those elements are presented.
pro tip: if your game requires grinding in any way, its not a good game. grinding is a lazy-developers best friend for stretching a relatively small amount of REAL content into a full game and I am tired of it. its disrespectful of my time as a player and as a consumer. i wish it was as easy as just not buying the…
Police love to peddle the myth that they’re in some daily life-or-death struggle to keep society safe from the forces of evil, but their actual on-the-job mortality rate is lower than the overall national average. Cop isn’t even in the top ten dangerous jobs.
This is some bull. You know, we have service members who get deployed in to REAL war zones. I know some people don’t like the military but everyone needs one. But those who leave their FOB/COB, know their lives are in danger. They could be surrounded by an angry mob. YET those in uniform do not fire a single round…
I finally picked up Control and was super enthusiastic to start it after all the positive reaction it received. The brutalist architecture aesthetic and Twin Peaks-y discomfiting but clinical supernaturalism really spoke my language.
Back down off the defensive platform.
I think you know the answer to this
That’s quite possibly the worst thing I've ever seen
Um, how is this not an A+?
Well jokes on you, buddy, you missed a real barn-burner.
