Interesting idea, but I find no evidence for that. Everything I can find regarding privacy policies is in regards to data collected on their websites. I even checked the back of my ticket from the last movie I saw. It was blank.

The other factor is timeout for locking. When someone uses a 6-8 digit PIN they generally set their phone so that it won’t immediately lock when in use.
