it’s not racist, he’s a rich douchebag, I assume they all do that while ignoring their girlfriends except for some of the times where they are offered sex

maybe “She’s insecure, and for good reasons...” means she’s not a bitch? those things seem in contradiction to me

Also Mipha’s “Am I British or am I American?” problem

The casting director was terrible. What the hell was Mipha’s voice acting. I haven’t heard a worse accent in something of this production quality in a looong time.

“read too much into it” is a really easy thing to say when it’s not about something that affects you daily

Yeah I don’t see why people saying “he shouldn’t wrestle girls” don’t realize they’re then just saying trans people shouldn’t be allowed to play sports

Yeah, but some people have old or slow smartphones or ones on weird platforms — stuff Nintendo’s not going to support well/at all.

If you don’t want to do that, why not... just not do it?

You’re right to get fired up. No need to apologize.

They say the fee is “recoupable.” Interestingly connotative but still vague word choice.

He just comes across as massively insecure and in need of reassurance, and while some insecurity is relatable, at some point you need to take charge and show you’re trying to manage it...

Yeah Crimson Peak was eye candy all over. Including Hiddleston’s butt :D

Just always give him a script. He’s a decent actor and has some good impressions. Just someone else give him the words and motivation — he’s too self-involved to manage this well himself.

It is hilarious how seriously he takes himself. Somewhere out there there’s an interview of him and Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson in the Marvel movies) after one of the Thor movies, and Tom looks absolutely *pained* any time Clark uses the slightest exaggeration or joke (which he does a lot, he’s a fun guy). Honestly he

...can she change her name and likeness and then not owe him that in the future? honestly if I was supposed to pay my rapist money for showing up in things I might consider it

wow my dad does this too. Always ends with “Love, Dad.”

it’s almost like people are responsible for the implicit meaning in their communication though, when it’s multiple people interpreting it that way. responsibility for clear communication goes both ways, not just the people interpreting your words.

yeah “k” is often used as a dismissal. but it’s still a normal thing to see from people who aren’t comfortable with texting/think abbreviating is always normal. gotta add the context.

it’s unnecessary if it’s one sentence

The swastika -> “Love” conversion actually reminds me of chemical hazard labels. Sounds like another idea if you spot graffiti on something/a building that contains hazardous chemicals... but you’d have to make sure you make the numbers accurate or you’d confuse firefighters so that’s not great :P
