? i don’t think you followed my meaning. I said that over enough games, the noise causing error in the rating from those variables will disappear. My point was that yeah, the variables are not what you want to capture, but over time their influence will even out.

It does measure your skill over enough games. Over enough games, the variables even out — how many bad teammates you had, disconnects that happened — because those happen at about the same rate to everyone else. The thing is, there’s a shitton of variables so it takes a shitton of games to get an accurate rating.

Ah, those are fair! I had zero expectations/hopes for narrative direction personally (the end of the show kind of threw me off there), so this makes sense!

Do we really think that Netflix is planning on attracting new people with this? Everything I’ve read has described the reboot as a “where they ended up” sort of story, and that sounds hard to follow if you don’t know where they started.
