Pot-lucks, anyone? We do it all the time, with the simple rule: bring something that you would like to eat yourself. Then, if there’s nothing you like, it’s your own damned fault...
Just curious: why would I want Knox 2.6?

It might. I put a kill-a-watt on mine: 38W, which, to be fair, might vary a bit with picture content and contrast, This was watching a movie on Netflix in a dark-ish room.

If you’re also looking for more advanced, check out fastrawviewer.com and libraw.com. They have (IMO cheap) apps that let you get a good handle on what your camera is actually doing, exposure-wise. Lots of good info on the site, including videos. d/l a free trial while you’re at it. (on sale currently, BTW)
If you’re looking for optical (vision correcting) goggles, the ones that come in a simple plus or minus diopter are worth a shot. Pity there don’t seem to be any currently that allow for a different diopter for each eye. If you can’t just try these on in-store but know your prescription, you add diopter and cylinder…
