Waterford Hills!!!! I had a friend who’s ITB 924 did the same thing out of Turn 3 during a race weekend. Must be an issue with ITB cars from the 80's! The worst part was that his car was suddenly illegal and he had to run to a hardware store to quick pick up a new one.

Bingo! Too much throttle, car snaps sideways, driver lifts, front gets grip, driver doesn’t lock brakes, so car steers exactly where it was pointed.
Trackdays or wheel-to-wheel? If it’s wheel-to-wheel racing where you’re getting mowed down then shouldn’t you find a different class, or a car better suited for that class? If its trackdays then there’s not much you can do except have fun with what you’ve got.

That will be interesting to see. PWC generally runs as a support event for Tudor or Indy events and not as the headlining event. If that changes I agree but until that schedule is released its an unknown. Same goes for trans am although quite a few of their events this year have been the premier event.

Initially I thought the same thing but if Ricciardo gets penalized for that then no one will even attempt a pass for fear of penalty. Its an unfortunate circumstance of Monaco and they need people attempting questionable passes otherwise it will be even more boring than it already is.

Thanks for the response. It was actually refreshing to not hear a response purely relating to financial backing. Lots of guys are bringing money and a lot of the kids coming up are fast. It's enlightening to know that there are still factors in which an individual can contribute to earn a ride.
How did you manage to outshine all the other hopefuls and land a paid ride? It looks like money seems to trump all nowadays and even trying to make a break involves huge investment. What made you different from all the others when you were trying to establish yourself?
