You are not wrong. People are pissed at Ford but a) I dont know if Ford could have done it all that much better and 2) RAM will/could probably do things basically the same. 

Anyone who wants the chance to buy they truck they want, not be force-fed a higher-end model only for more money. Not saying RAM will be any different than Lightning sales in this regard but I reserved a RAM since Ford won’t sell me a Pro for $39.9k as originally teased.
