I actually LOVE how the ~2007 Malibu SS sedan looks. The body shape and rear spoiler make it look like what NASCAR would actually look like if based on real sedans. If it it was RWD and V8 or at least FWD and V8 like the Monte SS. 

I didnt believe him at first either but, sure enough! Wow, how sad. No wonder we didnt know about it...I bet GM wanted to keep that pretty quiet.

Confused me too but we figured it out. I would say any V6-engined SS is a faux SS too.

I remember Car and Driver or maybe Automobile did a short price on these trucks when they came out. The angle on the article was to convince people to order one of these with manual trans, v8 and LSD with the short rear end gear. They said they were also surprised with how fast it is!
