Damn. It would’ve been pretty cool to find a Jalop that’s from here too lol.

It’s the same thing with Cadillac, sure they drive nicely but their sales suffer because their cars are a class below in everything else.

You live in Jax too? Small world. Anyways I just saw the exact same car when I looked at the dealership and in person the wheels are comically small and ugly.

A joke is supposed to make people laugh. That was the lamest “joke” I’ve ever read.

Yeah not even close. That’s overstating things a tad bit.

Glad you believe in me ;)

And here come the people who see bmw and 100k miles and think “OMG THIS IS GOING TO BANKRUPT YOU THE ENGINE IS A HANDGRENADE!!!” My dad’s e90 m3 has been the most reliable car he’s ever had with 120k miles since brand new. He’s owned everything from Honda to Mercedes and his e90 has basically been more reliable then

You should’ve asked them how they plan to increase sales. I bet you would’ve gotten some blank stares and a swift punch in the face for that one.

I’m in the minority here, but I hate those god awful things. They were painfully ugly and slow and the handling just didn’t help, for me at least. I may not like CRX’s but I respect them, and I can understand why people do love these ugly little things.

I kinda see what you mean now. They don’t desperately need one but I would say it’s on there list of priorities.

Well you defended pretty poorly. It’s absolutely a necessity because crossovers are proven sales and money which VAG badly needs in the US. They aren’t just going to opt out of the largest segment in the US because there’s “too many choices”. Get real man, a company is going to go where the money is.

They do in fact need a crossover, as much as we enthusiasts don’t like them. Get over it.

I think that’s actually the manual. If not that’s definitely different than most of BMW’s shifters

YES. My grandma has one of those god awful things and she honestly thinks it’s some sort of sports car.

I don’t know if I’m the only one or not but I honestly thought when this was revealed that it was extremely ugly. But then, like some sort of jalopnik miracle, it grew on me. I’d love me some of this miata if I had some more money lying around, especially in black.

What about me??? Come on pleeeeaaassseee! I’ll give you my pop tart :)

Every single time I go is the worst experience I’ve ever had there and I’m sure I’m not the only one.

Pretty sure the 1m didn’t have a bespoke engine just a tuned version of a 135i engine but you’re right about the suspension. However the M235i still just another sportier trim level just like V sport, AMG sport, and others so I don’t see what the big fuss is about.

That’s why I said probably. And I was trying to make a joke but nevermind. And good for you man, I wish I could afford something extremely expensive lol.

You could say they were, but what makes them any different than the M235i? All had the bigger engine option, all had and available manual, and all are good in the handling department. So I don’t see your point.
