So basically...we aren’t getting much... Hopefully that means I wont have to trade in my 2017...
The Golf R is the best car here, and for simple reasons: It’s the most livable, easily accessible, performance bargain of all the cars shown above.
Too bad the US doesn’t get the Euro version of the Golf R with 305HP.
Just flipped over to VW build and price website and could not configure a 2017 Golf R for under $40000. Sad.
So my thoughts of picking up a Golf R are validated thanks to this.
It looks like Golf R is still kinda king of these for dailying. I’m going to be way happier about fuel efficiency, turning radius, and VW fit/finish than top speed. And since it’ll sit in traffic plenty, I ain’t mad about that DSG acceleration either.
I’ll preface this with saying my experience is with US law, specifically Pennsylvania, and doesn’t apply here since the incident happened in Vancouver.
