And zero tolerance is fucking stupid.  Not many things are so cut and dry; things need nuance, and one of them that needs it the most is the application of the law.

There’s certainly fault here but I think what’s screwing him is that he was found guilty of extreme indifference which I don’t think is the truth here. He is certainly guilty of something but I don’t think he intended on taking out a bunch of people that day.

The nearest runaway ramp would be miles before this back up in hte foothills. He was hitting the western side of greater Denver rush hour traffic. Its a parking lot there every day at that time other crash or not.

Did this guy fuck up and deserve to go to jail? Certainly.

All of this. Garbage suggestions by garbage people.

I think all those drivers would have gotten right out of Max’s way.

There should have only been Option 3, given the length of time it usually takes for a SC to clear.

There’s a 4th option: don’t allow any lapped cars to pass and green flag the last lap with 5 cars between Lewis and Max. They’d all have blue flags and dive out of the way pretty quick but at least there’d be a couple second gap Max had to make up on Lewis instead of starting on his gearbox with fresh tires

Go green one lap earlier instead of wavering on the decision-making and leave the lapped cars in the running order. They’ll get blue flagged and Max has fresh softs. He probably gets to Lewis in two laps anyway.

This looks like it drives just wonderfully.

A tiny house is and always will be just a trailer. And a tiny house with a motor is just an RV.

You mean like how Max was penalized last week without it impacting his position at all?

Christian Horner is such an insufferable windbag that it’s almost unbelievable. At this point, if literally anyone else was in the position of challenging to end Mercedes’ dominance I would be rooting for them, even Ferrari (which is hard as a long-time McLaren fan who has always considered Ferrari the hated rivals).

The anti-max bias that led them to:

When a business offers to do a task for money, the customer expects it to assign people to the task who can damn well do it.

$5 it broke when they lowered the vehicle onto the studs when the other 3 lug nuts were already off.
