Keep the SS you moron.

Agree. Japanese and now Korean car makers are good at making inexpensive (but not cheap), reliable cars whereas GM (and Ford) can also make inexpensive but so-so reliable cars that ends-up being seen as cheap. So if your car main purpose is to go from A-B (which is often the case in this segment), why would you bother

“nobody actually wanted small sedans and hatchbacks”
Honda, Hyundai/Kia, and Toyota would beg to differ.

It seems that much like any business focused soley on the immediate profit, they’re forgetting how they used to build a customer base.

If people knew how FB was gobbling up their data and then selling it, people might get upset about that and either intentionally pollute FB’s database or not give them any more information going forward. Either of those scenarios would be an existential threat to FB’s core business: selling your information to anyone

Few things illuminate financial illiteracy as clearly as the car buying process. And this example is some “put this cap on your head, sit in the corner and think about what you just did.” shit.

If you have to borrow money to buy a Boxster, my friend you do not have enough money to own a Boxster.

I absolutely hate my car’s heater’s touch screen controls, but I hate the physical touch controls just as much, because they are useless for the same reason as the touch screen; you can’t tell what you are doing without looking down at them. I want my knobs and dials back! I could operate them from pure muscle memory

Yes and no. Climate control, volume, and tuning all need hard buttons. As well as system critical functions (wipers/lights/etc), but infotainment is fine on a screen ASSUMING the UI is quick and intuitive.

I’m glad i’m not the only one thinking this. This clearly is an answer to the Mazda interior design in the Mazda 3.

Came here to say that this clearly feels like benchmarking of Mazda.

This is why I’m fond of Kia’s system. Buttons when I want them, touchscreen there for when I’m goofing off in a parking lot. My optima just feels so much cleaner to use than my cousin's accord.

All hail the physical button. Nothing is as safe. It’s always where you left it. There is physical feedback when you use it. No need to ever take your eyes off the road.

Pedals are really the key though. I have had a full CSL elite setup for about a year it’s really great for what I need now but the load cell pedal upgrade really changed the way I “drive”.

I waited a long time before buying a CSL Elite setup. Definitly worth the consideration if you are playing more than once a week. For the effective price of a used iphone, you will get a much more immersive experience. You will need a decent cockpit setup though. Not sure I would do Fanatec as a table top setup.

I think it’s Russell’s fault, he knew the risks trying to pass on the damp at those speeds. He went for it and spun into Bottas. Bottas has every right to defend for positions.

First off, you shouldn’t be going so fast on a public road that your car snaps from a small mid-corner bump. Second, that is a stability issue rather than a power-induced issue, unless the driver had already jumped on the throttle at this point with the TC disabled. When in doubt, roll onto the throttle in a powerful

I imagine it’s kind of like the police. The sane ones that would want to fix the place just end up quitting, and you end up with a bunch of bumbling true believers that they’re Chosen Ones that everyone is out to get
