Have you driven it?

Have you driven it? I didn’t feel like it needed the LT1 at all. The performance is excellent. Maybe if the LT1 sounded like a DOHC V8 I’d agree.
The handling of the ATS-V completely blew me away. I didn’t like it much until I drove it. Then I loved it. The gauge cluster sucks. CUE sucks, but good god does it drive well. And, they did the engine right. It has big enough turbos that it pulls hard all the way to redline.
Yes, It is. I really want one and was blown away by it in a 5 minute drive. Never have I ever had so much confidence in a car’s abilities and handling that quickly.
Tow/haul mode, man.
I love the Coyote 5.0L but the 2.7L and 3.5L are beasts when it comes to towing.
If the chassis, suspension, most of the driveline and the body structure is all or nearly identical, it’s not a new car, it’s a refresh. You have to commend Dodge for being able to keep a very old car as fresh looking and feeling as it is with two refreshes (2011, 2015). That said, it’s the same platform. When Ford…
You’re 100% correct and they will fail. I hate to see that as a Ford fan, but they will.

Well, Ford is intending it to battle the Wrangler. Whether or not it can is a different story.
Supercharged 5.2L but crossplane (like the Coyote). Already spotted in leaks.
Edge ST - nope should stay Edge Sport
Explorer ST - nope should stay Explorer Sport
It’s going to battle the Wrangler. Sources are good.
It’s not. The Fusion/MKZ/Edge is the CD4 platform and the Taurus is the D platform. The Taurus and Explorer share that platform.
No, it actually shares nothing with the Taurus. Closer to the Fusion/MKZ, but really only shares driveline modules/subframes.
The guy driving the Mustang should be retired.
Fuck you. It’s the airline/airport/crew. They should’ve either booted her and the dog, or let it be given that they allowed the dog on the plane in the first place. No human being should be ok with stuffing a dog in an overhead bin. You’re sick.
I drove the crap out of an ATS-V this past summer. I have never ever gotten in a car and felt that comfortable to push it almost immediately. Handling and steering was sublime. Engine was done extremely well too, pulled all the way to redline unlike so many turbo engines.
GMs honchos are always so damn full of themselves. Al O, this guy. Sheesh.
The car I owned when I test drove a few FR-S’ was a ‘09 Accord coupe, 4 cyl, M/T. The FR-S (also manual) felt barely faster even when I flogged it. As you aptly pointed out, the stock torque curve is crap. My old car was a mid 7's 0-60. Most tests I’ve found of the FR-S/BRZ were mid-high 6's. That’s enough of a…
