Are you high? You honestly think that punishment in the form of removing one’s ability to drive to their place of employment (something that enables loan repayment) isn’t slavery? They would be better off throwing that person in jail, because at least they’d have guaranteed 3 meals a day and a place to sleep.

Needs this:

I don’t like how the grille meets the splitter/lip in the front...AT ALL. Needs something to finish it there (some more body color to separate them). Otherwise it’s gorgeous.

Every business except the healthcare industry is interested in this. It’s 1/6 of the economy, so they have some “pull”, shall we say, with our government.

DO IT. DO IT. DO IT.

Given its LS based architecture, its probably geared to the moon and makes crazy torque.

Good luck packaging enough heat exchangers to cool that thing.

For it to hit the top speed claim in addition to the 0-60 will require a CVT or multi-gear transmission. The P100D, with its 760 hp, is insanely fast to about 80, 90 mph. Top gear just did a test where a 911R raced it, and got spanked to 100, but after about 120, took the lead and kept it.

The cab shops and body shops have very similar levels of actual automation. Nearly everything is done by a robot. On the main assembly lines, the automation is pretty close. Some isn’t practical for a commercial truck plant because of the product complexity that I mentioned.

I’ve worked for both Big 3 auto OEM and a leading commerical truck OEM. The level of automation is pretty much the same. The line rate is much slower for the commercial trucks to deal with the massive amount of product variation that exists compared to cars, or even pick-ups. The notion that the plants are smaller and

Musk is vastly underestimating the complexity of the industry, the customer requirements and the point at which to insert Tesla into them. Commercial truck is VERY different from passenger car.

Good.

I <3 Mazda.

NP! I nearly bought an ‘06 Speed6 in 2009. I kinda regret not doing it.

Except this will be twice as expensive??

It certainly isn’t beautiful.

CP. At $3k I’d probably say NP. Too many miles at that price, even though it is very clean overall. Yeah I know it’s a Honda, but even at 170k miles, things start to go.

$38-40k GT Premium w/ PP over a $43k 430i...no contest. The Mustang isn’t trying to compete with the 4 series on interior luxury, but it’ll wipe the floor with it dynamically. I see where your priorities are, though. Every modern BMW I’ve sat in or driven feels like a German dentist’s office; sterile and bland,
