I agree. That thing behind the front wheels is a no.
I agree. That thing behind the front wheels is a no.
Except that’s mostly because of Republican sabotage of the ACA via amendments that would’ve given subsidies to insurance companies for plans that would be very expensive (like yours, probably). You can’t set a fire and then blame someone else when it burns the house down.
Most of the it was the fact that it was a premium trim car. That adds about 60 lbs vs a base. The EB PP brakes (same as the non-PP GT) add about 20.
Well I’ll be damned. It’s different than originally stated. I will inquire to my sources.
A base SS will mop the floor with a current GT PP, no other options. The GT PP will have had that as a benchmark.
It’s just how they’re order coding and thus driving the right parts.
It doesn’t though. A ‘18 GT with the PP is $40k. A 1SS is $38k. They will be very much on-par for performance.
PP2 = PP + Magneride.
Their 1LE fighter will be slower than the 1LE and $6k more expensive and over $50k (you have to get a GT premium to get Recaro seats).
A base EB with the PP weighs in just about 3500 lbs. That car was a fully-loaded premium, I believe with the 20" wheels which are heavy AF. I don’t typically defend the EB much, but they’re quick cars.
I see you’ve never experienced fantastic exhaust note. Nothing synthetic will replicate the sound of hundreds of small, controlled explosions in symphony in the same way. This is the only reason I want them to stay around.
This is all, for the most part, accurate, due to the API certification. The one aspect missing here is the TAN & TBN data for all those oils, which shows you how well the additive package is working. Your data set is also missing some of the other key variables for those of us who track our cars, like thermal…
Insanity. Ford really screwed up with the pricing and packages on this one. The big comparison that is going to hurt is the SS 1LE vs. a Mustang GT with all comparable features...it’s $6k more for less performance, since a 1LE is on the GT350's level. I own a ‘15 GT btw, and love it.
Yep, figured that out too. Too much money. At $40k MSRP it’d be excellent.
Correction: A base GT, with the Perf Pack, Mag Ride and Active Exhaust (requires 301A package) is $44,580. If you want fully loaded, it’s $54,755.
All that will be a ~$50k car.
Use it the day you’re going to replace said tires when they’re worn out. It’s good fun and that’s the only time I’ve used it.
That is the strangest autocross course I’ve seen, but this is awesome.
Such a satisfying engine to drive though. I love how it comes on above 4k. The linear power is so nice, too.
Even with the Demon’s weight savings, the Mustang is still much, much lighter (~500-600 lbs).
You forget, BMW engines are notoriously underrated, to the point where that figure is the WHP, not the BHP.
