It would certainly be interesting. As long as we don't have another Cerberus.

I think because Saturn was relatively small, focused almost entirely in North America, and had decent consumer goodwill, it was approachable. FCA is a massive behemoth with a global marketplace presence and years of negative perception. I’m not sure.
Same.
Escalade is name dropped more than anything else.
1955 Doc Brown, glad to see you figured out the Internet!
Thanks :) and I agree if you're underwater, work towards paying that off before getting something different.
No worries. Cheers!
You’re arguing semantics at this point, all I did was take issue with the idea that a used car is the solution to negative equity, when my years in a dealership proved the exact opposite. It’s far easier to get approved on a new car with rebates than it is a used car with an outrageous LTV.
You misunderstood me. Say a vehicle is priced at $10,000, and for our exercise is worth $10,000, and with a credit score of 670 a bank will lend 100% LTV (Loan to Value). You then have roughly $1,500 worth of taxes and state fees, making the LTV 115%. Then you want to add another $1,500 of negative equity. That’s…
The only dispute I have is saying to buy a used car with negative equity. It is much more difficult to finance a used vehicle with no money down due to Loan to Value calculation, and that’s exacerbated even further when adding negative equity. If you must get something to replace an underwater vehicle, unless you have…
Note Evans is not driving. He also nearly shit himself letting it out into the real world.
His Ferrari collection is boring as hell and spends it’s life in a carpeted garage.
I’m always curious as to the career path one takes to end up in this position.
Now that vintage Skyline GT-Rs and real Civic Type Rs are coming to the US, adult me is going to be cashing a lot of checks teenage me wrote.
Awesome read. Good on you for putting money where your mouth was.
Tesla Jacket Guy reminds me of those people decked out head to toe in Ferrari gear that don’t own one.
Only a few short years before R33s are legal in the USA. It will be mine. Oh yes. It will be mine.
It really is astonishing how such a simple stylistic change makes such a drastic difference in a vehicle’s appearance.
Sigh.
I know. I rented the AMG after being away on business for three weeks. It was more enjoyable than a cab ride home at 1am though.
