One of the more unusual reasons to go with the hybrid (this was true of the last generation) is that it’s built in Japan instead of Canada. Nothing against our northern neighbors, but Toyota keeps a very tight leash on its Lexus/Hybrid factories. That’s what the rep told us anyway.
