Or "The Tooch" as some affectionately call him.

Before anyone gets to compiling, what concerns are you looking for, exactly? Ones involving the ramifications of adults cheering children's disrespectful behavior and mocking of others' belief systems? Or reinforcing this behavior in teenagers who will soon decide whether they want to be asshole adults? The

Yes I agree. What I dislike about this is that they were making fun of other kids and I was using my examples to try to explain that. I am Catholic and I am pretty chill about mocking Catholicism. I thought that kid in Ohio who posed as if Jesus was giving him a blowjob was hilarious and that was a Catholic church but

I agree. I work at a Catholic school even though I'm not Catholic myself, and I find this very mean-spirited. Does Christianity disproportionately and often negatively influence American culture? Yes. No one here disputes that. But this stunt reinforces an "us" v. "them" mentality in a really unhealthy way.

My problem is not that they mock religion is that they mock other kids because of their religion. I think applauding that in kids is awful no matter how marginalized said religion is. Also, there are many Catholics (Hispanics) who are pretty marginalized.

Nah, you're being a decent human being. This was pretty insensitive and overboard in my opinion. Back in my day it was all about making dumb slogans in regards to the mascot, (Bully the Bulldogs, Sink the Pirates... That kind of stuff) not this crap.

They should be sorry, just because you don't agree something doesn't mean you should openly mock and disrespect someone's believe/religion. I'm sure you wouldn't be cool if there was a Sandra Day O'Connor School, and after the rival Andrew Jackson Academy killed them in a soccer game posed under a sign w a picture of

I'll probably get flamed for this...

I caved on the shorts (which were, I think, $58?) because I could not FOR THE LIFE OF ME find chino shorts with stretch, and decent pockets, a non-absurdly short or long inseam or rise, in colors other than freaking khaki or army green (I got them in faded almost-black and bright orange).

That's the RAD Manual tl;dr

Come on, NBC executives. Get on your feet. Get up and make it happen.

Just so you know....

I'm not?

Ah. So like "suffer in silence" — that's almost certainly how she meant it. In medicine "suffer from X" usually just means to experience it so that was my read. I retract the ETA then.

Of note, this (very small) study was based on interviews with women ages 30-55. Specifically young women are likely to delay getting help — possibly because for most women in their 30s heart attacks aren't even a consideration. Women are also more likely in general to have the kind of non specific symptoms that can

You. Are. Great. Please continue demolishing Jango up there while I watch. It's been very entertaining!

*shameless excuse for a Bill Nye gif*

I'm not exaggerating when I say that I tried for 45 minutes to find a way to slide that in to the paper that didn't make it obvious that I was only doing it because her name is Horney. Trust me, that was not missed. Blood, sweat, and tears over this and still no success.

HOW DID THIS STORY MISS THE SINGLE MOST GREATEST THING ABOUT THAT 1963 ARTICLE??!?

it's my dad's! he got it at an ELO show in like 1978. i'm sure a ton of other dads were at that show though, so you could probably get it from a dad.
