All of them.
All of them.
This may be the Mad Men quote I use most in my daily life.
I hope the IUD catches up with you if you’ve got one of those- I haven’t had a period in like, two years. This is how men live. I love every minute, even though I think there was some weight gain.
oh NO I need to pet him. does... does he like tum rubs?
He should have saved letters and just typed “not all men”
Yeah, like, I live in Seattle and I do that on the internet, but in real life? I can’t imagine. Never.
I’d rather have a furbaby than a kiddo, though.
The Lure is kind of a hot mess of a movie! A lot of the scenes feel disjointed from each other, but the cinematography is incredible and the performances are a lot of fun. I got to talk to the cinematographer last summer, and he was incredibly charming- it was a good consolation prize for the director missing the…
I’d pay for these, but not that much.
I was just thinking, my dad’s digital detritus is mostly going to be photography- they travel a lot and he builds epic slideshows every time, and I will want some of his images in physical space as a reminder of what he saw, but know there will be no way to display all of them.
I imagine it depends on what aesthetic you’re going for! I want to work towards the masculine triangle- way more concerned about having nice shoulders and defined arms than the perfect bum. Think something like this program would help for that look, even for a chick?
Really? You don’t think a room full of people with different backgrounds and appearances working together contrasted to a homogenous group working in unity reads as “good” and “bad”?
Can you imagine something like Star Wars with two or three women in the center of the poster and a guy off to the side? I doubt I’ll get to see it, but I’d be fucking thrilled.
Yeah, when I grew up I saw that. It wasn’t as obviously and visually impressive to a little kid that negotiation is just as heroic as raw strength- something little boys usually don’t have to split out, because their heroes get to do both all the time.
When I was growing up, my mom was ahead of this curve, and went out of her way to supply me with media where girls weren’t the damsels. My favorite books were the Lioness Rampant Quartet, a series about a girl trading places with her brother to go to knight training and eventually becoming the most respected knight in…
“What I MEANT was, if you don’t like it, don’t watch/play/buy it, AND don’t ever tell anyone about that decision, and certainly don’t talk about the more inclusive things you plan to consume instead. What I want is for you to shut up.”
Sometimes I want that too! Except I grew up a girl, and do you know how hard you have to look to get that fantasy filled as a girl? It sucks to be taught as a kid that you’re the one that has to get rescued.
I hated it. I only ever wanted to watch the second half of Return of the Jedi as a kid because Leia gets a gun and gets to shoot stormtroopers and befriend Ewoks. Mostly I read books about girl knights who got to do their own rescuing, because there were almost no movies for me. By the time I got to be in highschool,…
You start out so well by pointing out that Peach has a job, and then fail completely by saying the reason to rescue her is that she’s cute
