Umbrella Academy had a better-crafted story. I wouldn’t call it slow... maybe it took time to get where it was going, but everything that happened in the meantime was actually relevant to getting there, which makes all that time spent feel rewarding, rather than wasted.

It wasn’t boring, but it wasn’t great. I think they created a unique world that ended up being a lot more two-dimensional than it should have been, and the story seemed to depend way too much on hamfisted analogues to current events or trying to force in themes from other shows than organically growing a narrative.

I didn’t like WC3. Starcraft 1(w/ brood war) was perfect, and I was out of RTS gaming by the time SC2 came out. WC3 was a massive disappointment coming off SC, the push to 3D making armies tiny, and Heroes completely undermining the RTS gameplay.  Also, giving all support units auto attacks just bothered me.

NEEEW YORK CITY? Makes this a contender for best commercial of all time.

It used to be real a long time ago. I pretty much only had cracker barrel like once every 5 years, and I was excited just for the syrup, then I noticed it wasn’t that good and saw the bottle changed.

I’d love to get this for my mom, she isn’t playing games on her phone.

I still have my Ripper CD roms!

I use my phone to make phone calls, I watch movies on a tv.

1) I love my Essential Ph-1, but I got it on Prime day for $250. I would never pay $800 for it because I would never pay $800 for any phone.

Nobody said Anil is waking up.

I loved Stan Against Evil, but it was a different show, and kind of went off the rails. It felt like the seasons were too short, but they also struggled to fill in what they had. John C. McGinley, Janet Varney, and Deborah Baker Jr. were a really fun team.

Kelly, Pablo, Brandy, and Jane Levy- 100% in.

It’s a trick.  Get an axe.

Brown ale, specifically Dogfishhead’s Raison d’Etre. I considered buying a kegerator for a bit because they stopped bottling it but still had barrels, I was ready to drive to Delaware to buy one.

If Dogfishhead kept making Raison d’Etre, I would never need a different beer again.  That is the end game of beer for me.  Not many other browns exist, let alone come close in complexity of flavor, but Barrel Trolley was alright. I don’t even know if it still exists, though.

I always wanted playable Arrakoa, the bird people from Burning Crusade.

I’ve been gone a while, but those Mechagnomes should be pure mechanical, the flesh faces on robot bodies is disturbing.

Boba Fett has a cool suit and no personality, so he is anything people wanted him to be.  In actuality, he’s just a chump who got killed by a stumbling blind guy and eaten by a hole in the ground.
