When does the opener act like these views are being pushed by outsiders... these contradictory views are being pushed by very bloggers right here at Jalopnik.  Some keep touting it as a major downturn, while others keep pushing that its increasing sales records.  While both of these statements can be simultaneously

Almost anything is better than a console shifter for an automatic.  Lincoln’s buttons seemed fine.  Ram’s knob is also fine.  Column shifter, also fine.  Just stop taking up my console space with a super shitty hollow feeling and plasticky shifter.

This slowing growth might not be quite as bad as some are claiming it is.

The guy really in charge and who I largely blame is Gene.  I mean, Steiner clearly isn’t on Wolff or Horner’s level, but I don’t blame him for the Haas situation.

No, saying the CX-50 and CRV are barely distinguishable.

Are you blind, or just dumb?

Weren’t you telling everyone to buy an Outback when you got one?

Just be smart enough that the few times a year that it sucks ass, is saving you from having to visit a gas pump weekly (or whatever) and thus the total time over the year spent “filling up” is still probably in favor of EVs when you look over the whole year.

I work for a battery coater. Dry-coating, which Tesla is trying to do, hasn’t been cracked yet. It’s good in theory, but doesn’t work full scale production. As a result, every other EV battery is made with wet-coating.  The fact they moved ahead so quickly with the despite not making it fully viable yet, is the real

If I were crazy rich and had a 20 car garage, I’d certainly buy one.

Now, if Ford could translate that “awesome” over to the release of their more pedestrian models and maybe have a bit fewer recalls...

I agree it’s ugly as fuck, but I can see why other people like it. It’s totally outlandish and ridiculous and I know some people like that. It’s futuristic. It’s fuckin’ weird.

Man, I so want Rivian to improve.  They are like the one semi-viable brand that actually makes something that interests me and I might be able to afford some day.

I hear the Pacifica Hybrid is downright fantastic... when it’s actually working.  Such a shame that a (supposedly) great vehicle is so hindered by shitty reliability.

Consider downloading TamperMonkey and “Kinja Unslideshow”.

Subjective yes, but I’ve also never heard a single person, or read a single comment, of someone thinking any of Volkswagen ID# cars are great looking, or fantastic.

Sure, it’s a shit design, but I see no struggling.  All the talk of struggling is from people that have never offroaded before.

Why do you keep including North America in your list of “easy” borders like Europe?  I cross the Canadian/American border all the time and it is very legit.  Full on security check point, long lines of cars, interview with an agent that can detain you, your vehicle, and your belongings.  Sure, it’s typically a short

I work like 1000 ft from the new plant they are building in Rochester; nothing official but I’ve heard they are super lax on health/safety. My department’s health and safety person interviewed there and said just the interview made him nervous, and he’s one of the most laid back health/safety people I’ve worked with.

Probably worth $10-11k depending on timing belt replacement (says “Good” but what does that mean?).  While everyone here is shocked a needy (maintenance wise, not condition wise) car could possibly be worth so much, it is what it is.  Might be able to get it for $9k on a good day.
