Not sure needlessly is the right word. There are specific actual needs for chrome plating. I mean, old car bumpers certainly isn’t a need, but lots of industrial processes rely on chrome.

Wouldn’t this just go to show that a used EV (Leaf or Bolt) would be an excellent choice for the price conscious?

What’s wrong with it?

No way man; NASCAR lost their when when the Gen 4 cars came out. Before then, it seemed like far less of a spec series. Now, while there are differences between cars, it feels like a freaken’ spec series. Add in the “Chase” and the other stupid stuff they’ve done and it just isn’t worth watching.

EV’s already make sense from a price perspective.  It’s just that people automatically rule out vehicles like the Leaf and Bolt because they are econoboxes and they don’t actually care just about price anyways.

Is there a list of the affected vehicles?

$1,200 wouldn’t even buy that shade in a quality brand today.  Probably $2,000 for Chromabase or something like that.

Weird. After owning my first Subaru, I’m likely not returning. I mean, it’s a fine car, but there’s too many small annoyances. Poor gas mileage: I know, I know, full time AWD, but even taking that into account it is poor considering it puts out a paltry 180hp.  It hates the cold: loads of creak, groans and rattles in

I’m not a “Loud Pipes Save Lives” supporter, but the idea that only people that don’t care about safety ride motorcycles is dumb.

But loads of flights aren’t at max weight already.

I don’t disagree... but I don’t understand what the connection is with efficiency?  Why would that suddenly become an issue?

But that doesn’t make sense at all. If fuel becomes a lower expense (due to increased efficiency), why would they suddenly become more concerned with cramming more people on flights?

Explain the logic on that one please...

The term “environmentally friendly” generally means “the least harmful to the environment” compared to other options and what is realistically possible weighted against the common need of it all together.

When Harley is willing to leave their bread and butter, they can make some pretty great stuff.

So... uh... this?

Given China’s governmental policies, do you actually own it though?  Property rights in China aren’t near as robust as places like the US.

Too many people expect perfectly clear roads at all time and we don’t expect drivers to have proper skill and their vehicle properly outfitted based on the weather.

Maybe I’m just becoming crotchety old man, or maybe I’m falling into the common rhetoric of “it’s not as good as it used to be,” but I found “A Scandi Flick” to be borderline bad. It certainly wasn’t good. I also wasn’t very impressed

Why did you pick about the abosolute worst execution of two tone for the example picture? Yellow with a slightly different shade of yellow? Barf (I have nothing against yellow, but wtf is with the clashing here?).
