Okay but his little noises, especially during his win animation, are adorable. He just... runs onward, screaming, presumably towards his next match, his work here done. Run, Helix, run!
Wanting to have a critical dialogue about art isn’t picking on the artist...
“Political” literally means “having to do with government. By that definition, it’s not political.
“Political”’s etymological roots, though, mean “of the people.” If you take that meaning, then if it’s about people, it’s political.
Nothing wrong with asking for a narrative on this sort of stuff. They’re adults, they can engage in the conversation and we can all learn from it.
you’re responding to a troll

...dude, I’m a software engineer too. but thanks.
Amiibo honestly kinda take the fun out of it. It’s not really pay to win — you can win just fine without them — and they either make it way too easy or drop stuff you don’t really care about once you’ve got good loot. I broke down and bought archer link at first because I broke all my bows at one point and trying to…
I’m... not sure how to feel about this. I don’t normally like games that don’t have a cohesive feel to them (and Mario games usually do). The mechanics look fun, probably. The graphics fucking weird me out.
Clicked on the trailer again, thinking I missed that. Took a second to sink in.
My cousins and I used to fight about whether Yoshi was a dinosaur or a dragon when we were kids playing Super Mario.
There’s also Metroid: Samus Returns for the 3DS.
In order to protect your intellectual property, you *need* to go after anyone who infringes on it. If you don’t, in later cases where the infringement is more damaging, your case can be weakened by previous non-enforcement.
Skyrim is an excellent game for someone who has played very few open world/action RPGs. They’re unlikely to mod anything, but they are likely to have much more fun exploring and not be as bothered by animation quality.
Splatoon had excellent motion controls for fine aim control, and I hope they continue to stay excellent in Splatoon 2.
He’s still a kid, and has yet to reach an age where he has any real sort of agency. Even if you’re right, he deserves the chance to prove you wrong.
It’s cool that they’re cheap, but the aesthetic is totally unappealing to me personally. I don’t find it cute, and it no longer really looks like the character so I don’t really want it?
It’s not though; the discourse I’ve been seeing (I live in Portland) has nearly completely centered around praising and mourning the men who intervened, and barely any words said about the girls or how to help them at all. That’s pretty messed up and I think demonstrates how much more likely we are to…
He’s not wrong. The vast, vast majority of the coverage has been about hailing the men who died as heroes — and almost nothing about the girls, who were the target of the violent rage, likely the intended victims, and will also continue to face bigotry and likely violence in their own lives. Yeah the men who died paid…
Why on earth would you put your mic at a different spot relative to your face based on whether you’re in handheld or docked mode? Freaking use bluetooth. And even if “voice chat on the switch uses some processing power and not everyone wants to use voice chat” were a good argument, then they don’t have to run the…
